Together with institutions and companies in Ukraine, many initiatives are making significant contributions to the reconstruction effort. This includes the German government’s Ukraine Reconstruction Platform. On the occasion of its opening, the Federal President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the Ambassador of Ukraine, Oleksii Makaiev, called for further exchange and networking as well as private initiative.
The “Forum: Bau-AUF-Ukraine” follows this call. It forms a competition-neutral and hybrid event and meeting platform for interested parties in Ukraine and Germany to promote the transfer of knowledge, provide recommendations for action and initiate or revitalize partnerships in the construction and IT industries. In the process, connectivity to and for interested parties from the European Union must be established.
Companies and institutions from the construction and specialist IT sectors that want to work in partnership on climate-friendly reconstruction projects in Ukraine and the extended EU internal market can participate – in the short, medium and long term >> Horizontal perspective.
Public decision-making bodies are invited to provide information on the specific framework conditions and the next steps and to provide planning certainty. >> Vertical perspective.

Together.
The Bau-AUF-Ukraine Foundation is in preparation and the Bau-AUF-Ukraine Club is being established.
We are already looking forward to welcoming supporters, interested parties and sponsors. With these focal points:
Before the war, there was a wide variety of partnerships between offices and companies in the construction industry, both large and small. Architects and engineers worked hand in hand. These times will come again and we won't wait. But what needs to be considered today? We are committed to the transfer of knowledge!
Whether roads or bridges, projects in the energy sector or healthcare. Companies are already setting an example. What can we learn from them? Questions about security, subsidies and financial resources, contractual and governmental framework conditions need to be answered. We are committed to providing information and reliable information.
Substantial funds were made available for reconstruction. And we also help with our own projects. With donations and support for projects in development, research and encounter.
The challenges for companies in the Ukrainian construction industry are enormous in this war. But there is a perspective beyond that: business in the eutopean domestic market. But what standards need to be observed and what are the conditions for sustainable planning and construction in the European Union? We are committed to information and training.
