The presentations focused on status reports from the integrated urban development plans with these key topics: Energy, waste and recycling management, water and wastewater as well as housing and infrastructure.
The heads of the city administrations reported personally on stage: Serhii Kondratiuk, Deputy Mayor of Zhytomyr, Evgeniy Makhovikov, Deputy Mayor of Chernivtsi and Ihor Otkydach, Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning, Architecture and Spatial Development of Vinnytsia.
Viacheslav Negoda, Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, spoke live.
The aim was also to gain a better understanding of the current needs and processes for rebuilding urban infrastructure and to present innovative options and instruments.
Taras Byk, Board Member of the NGO Agency for Recovery and Development, provided specific information on this.

Furthermore, the focus was on initiating concrete collaborations, implementing specific scalable projects and highlighting innovative demonstration projects as well as creating capacities and networks for reconstruction.
Prof. Dr. Rainer Lindner, Chairman of the German-Ukrainian Forum and CEO of the Heine + Beisswenger Group; Olga Mitskevych, Business Scout of the Agency for Economy and Development (AWE) at the AHK Ukraine; Susanne Friedrich, Head of the AWE with a focus on sustainable reconstruction in Ukraine; Thomas Kirmayr, Head of the Fraunhofer Allianz Bau and Andreas von Schumann, Chairman of the Bau-AUF-Ukraine Stiftung i. G. spoke with Dr. Josef Kauer, initiator of the forum.
